Cookie Cart v4.0 Features ---------------------- The script uses simple and Multiple Variable HTML tags to collect the customer's order information. All web page designs are adaptable to work with the Cookie Cart. Any web page design can be easily work with Cookie Cart using the simple HTML tags. It will work with or without Frames and is easily adaptable to Java script protocol. Cookie Cart uses cookies or I/P addresses to store the customer's I/P and home directory. By doing so, the shopping cart allows your customers to return and finish their shopping at your location. All this is accomplished while maintaining the previous information in a cart specifically set aside for their use. A New optional database program, integrates flawlessly to automatically produce pages for ordering from the database. A new modified engine allows for additional speed of operation. In addition, information handling has been improve to accommodate all cookie enabled browsers. Our engine is compact and runs fast utilizing (precreated) files. Most are modifiable in the configuration file. Functions with MetroCredit credit card acceptance programs, I-Check, PayPal, and Authorize.net. Server Requirements ---------------------- These are standard, and almost every ISP & hosting company is setup this way: You need to be allowed to run CGI scripts on your web site. If on a Unix server, Perl 5 and a SMPT mail program such as sendmail should be installed. If on an NT server, Perl 5 and a SMTP mail program such as sendmail, blat, or imail should be installed. You must have FTP or telnet access to your domain. A secure socket layer or cgi-wrap would also be helpful for security.

Design Elements You Control ---------------------- These are easily setup in the Cookie Cart configure file. Operating Systems: Unix, winNT, win95/98, & MacOS. Multiple shipping levels (UPS, UPS 2nd Day, and Federal Express) . Multiple shipping option (amount, /%, both and amount or weight - 10 levels). Check illegal or non-existent email addresses prior to issuing an order. A "Continue Shopping" routine (either to a set page or the previous pages). View items as added or redirect back to shopping page(for increased speed). State or International tax. Integrates with the EZ-Affiliate program. Optional database operation to create HTML pages on the fly. Optional Admin operation for tracking sales editing the database and sending captured email. Cookies and I/P's set for 3 days - adds greater convenience. No limit on Cart size, amount, or quantity. Automatic email of the order (sent to you, the vendor, and the customer). Thank you page for all online tranactions. Installing Cookie Cart v4.0 ------------------------ Installation is simple! Up load the images into the images directory, and the cgi, cfg, pl, and ccverify files into your web site's cgi directory. An additional tmp directory is required to maintain your customers temporary cart. In addition, a database directory is required for your completed Orders. These comprise the complete Cookie Cart 4.0. The CFG file and one line in the CGI file should be the only files that require editing. You do not have to know any programming! Our instructions walk you through the simple steps, and it should take only about 15 minutes to configure your cart. You will create your own catalog html pages and add simple FORM tags with each item to link to the Cookie Cart 4.0 .
